NSBF Coaches Clinic Scholarship by NSBF styret, 06 October 2009
The purpose of this program is to reward and promote individuals in the Norwegian Softball and Baseball Community who show a willingness and desire to teach the game. It does not demand that the selected individual report or provide a proof of competence upon completion of the clinic. The following criteria are some of the areas which will be focused on upon choosing individuals for scholarships:
• Has the coach shown a genuine interest in developing athletes within their given community?
• Does the coach have a vision of how his/her development can improve the skill level of the players he impacts?
• Has the coach or his/her club shown a desire to cultivate the sport to young people?
NSBF would like to promote the ongoing education of Norwegian baseball and softball coaches by providing a full scholarship including:
• Transport to/from the clinic chosen from the approved list shown on the application
• Lodging for the duration of the trip
• Any entry fee’s to the clinic
